My guest for this episode is Claire Crum. Claire has worked and served in the nonprofit sector for the past 15 years specializing in volunteer management and process development.
She is a Certified Director of Operations and the founder of Calm Ops – Operations Consulting Agency, where she and her team help nonprofits make a bigger impact with resources they already have by optimizing their systems and processes.
As a wife and homeschool mom of 3, she is passionate about making time for family, furthering impactful missions, and getting to drink her tea while it’s still hot.
Her most recent role at The Sidewalk Talk Listening Project saw 4x member growth in a 24hr period due to a national PR spot. Claire and her team streamlined the operations infrastructure with automation in order to increase the capacity for welcoming new members, donors, and volunteers with efficiency and sustainability.
They work with organizations to build out Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Libraries to ensure work consistency, build team member confidence, and help set clear expectations for success.
The leader Claire, and her team, work with intentional value action to build a foundation for the growth that will support their goals for work-life balance and is tailored to the unique mission, vision, and values of the organization.
